Can any one sex this Wyandotte chick?
The tail feathers have me stumped.

Also I bought another Wyandotte from the same bin, and it’s coloring/ markings & comb seem a little off for a Wyandotte, so can anyone let me know if it’s mixed or what
I’ll post a pic of the mystery chick in a moment.
Too young
Here’s a pic of the one that is making me think she isn’t a Wyandotte.
Hatchery quality wyandotte or wyandotte mix, possibly a cockerel.

I got some eggs from someone and all they knew about the eggs were they came from a bantam.so I need help with breed,I know it's too young to sex and I'm ok with that..any help is appreciated!!View attachment 1410606 View attachment 1410606
Too young to be sure of breed
View attachment 1412194 (French)Cuckoo Maran about 7 weeks old. I have a strong suspicion it’s a too but want more experienced opinions.
Most likely a cockerel
Can anyone sex this buff laced polish? I’m getting worried
Also, follow me on Instagram to see super cute pics of them all of the time. @sheenamills_
I don’t think so! Here are some pictures I just took of her comb.
Are we still thinking my little BLP is a hen?
Here is an image where you can see her tail
Too young. Post comb and saddle pictures when it is 10-12 weeks old.
Also, can any one sex my 2 week old lavender Orpington?
Too young
Curious about this chicken..
We have 6 and this is 1 of 2 that was supposed to be a Barnvelder but it doesn't look anything like the other one. Plus it seems to be the runt. It eats really well and is very tenacious about stealing the other chickens food but just won't grow. We try and make sure it gets more of the greens and worms and anything else we feed them but it's quite a bit smaller. So we're curious about the breed and if there's anything else we can do to jumpstart the growth on this one. So far the other chickens seem to watch out for it instead of bully it... Thank you for any help you can give. They are about 10 weeks. View attachment 1429879 View attachment 1429880 View attachment 1429881
It might be some sort of bantam, but at this age I'm not sure of the exact breed. Are you sure it is 10 weeks old?

Wondering if these silkies are pullets or roos.
How old? None of them show signs of being cockerels yet.
I have these two hens and fair and showmanship is coming up. I don’t exactly know what breed they are but I think they may be some sort of game fowl. Can somebody please help me clarify what breed or breeds these hens might be. Thank you.

The brown one could possibly be a game mix, or maybe a mixed breed with some speckled sussex in her background. What color are the bottoms of the black hen's feet?
Can any one help sex this lavender Orpington? About 5 weeks old.
Too young. Please post again when it is 10-12 weeks old.
I ordered five new chicks and received seven. (Love it when that happens!) I don't know what this wee girl is. I was thinking golden laced wyandotte but looking back at old photos of my other three GLWs, I think I'm wrong. I'd be interested in and grateful for any hints. Looking through chick photos for hours hasn't really enlightened me.

Could possibly be a GLW, but it's a bit too early to be sure.

Hello. Anyone think this might be a Roo? I am hoping so since I bought a pair. This one is a lot larger but also almost a week older.
It doesn't show any signs of being a cockerel yet.
Can you tell me what breed Chuck the rooster is? He was sent in my brown egg layer assortment. He was supposed to be a pullet. LolView attachment 1439872
Rhode island red
Who's up for sexing some silkies!? I have six silkies that I'm trying to get an idea about. I posted three pictures of each. 3 of them are white. The last one I put in four pictures because he is a silkie cross that I'm trying to figure out what he's mixed with and the gender if you got any guesses.

#2 and #3 could possibly be cockerels, but I'm really not experienced in sexing silkies. The silkie cross is looking like a pullet so far, and could possibly be crossed with polish or maybe cochin.
View attachment 1446221 View attachment 1446223 View attachment 1446224 Any clue what Chuck is?
Also can you tell me which hen is RIR and which is ISA brown ?
The first picture looks like an RIR and the second looks like a production red. It's kinda hard to tell, though, since the pictures are blurry.

Any one? What breed is this?

This is our rescue bundle: The Rescue Rangers. All we know is they are approximately 3.5 weeks old, and their father is a gamefowl/fighting cock breed who's gold and red. I can take closer pictures, this is just a shot to see everyone together, shots of one of the yellow heads, and shots of the smallest with the most distinctive markings. They were originally a clutch of eleven; these six were the only survivors of a raccoon. The biggest is a lot more developed than the distinctively marked little one.
Oh, and when the little one flaps, there are dark stripes continuing down its back. I can get some assistance to take a picture of that.

@Lenton's Happy Chick Farm Welcome to BYC! The feathered legged one I think is a Brahma, the black one I want to say Black Australorp, not sure on the blue one. Do you know where they got the eggs?
Yes! I have a "free chicken" that came with my order that looks like the brown one, and I had thought it was a brahma. I've got photos to post tomorrow of a few that are supposed to be girls, but they look a lot like boys to me.
