Don't know what breed or gender you have? Click here!

The first is a Barred Rock, the second a Buff Brahma, and the third a Light Brahma. Were you inquiring about their gender as well?
Light brahmas have feathered legs and a pea comb. This chicken has clean legs and a rose comb.

Any suggestions would be helpful. I thought it was a cockerel but at nine weeks its comb is mostly pinky white with a black top over it. I would love for it to be a pullet but not holding my breath. Thanks for the help. View attachment 1814510
I believe that is a red sex link pullet. There are some similar looking RSLs on this thread: https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/cinnamon-queen-thread.938674/.
Help with sex of these??
Second and fourth pictures are cockerels. Do you want to know the breed?

Its half the size of the other chicks that are the same size, but yay! I was hoping pullet but didnt want to get my hopes up. So many of my chicks are looking like cockerel. What about this gray one? Silver is a mixed with everything breed but is he a he or is she a she? Thoughts would be greatly appreciated. I'm also thinking cockerel because of comb and wattle but that tail makes me hopefulView attachment 1814560
Cockerel
What about this 10 week old Welsummer? And thank you so much for helping me out in figuring out my beauties. View attachment 1814595 View attachment 1814596 View attachment 1814607
Cockerel
What breeds are these chicks. I thought they were barred rocks. But I had a barred rock chick hatch today and they look different.

Sorry he's still not fluffy yet
Too young

Any ideas about the breeds (mixes?) of these hens? The golden one lays a light olive egg. The grey one has a little crest and lays a beige egg. View attachment 1814819 View attachment 1814820
Could you get clearer pictures? Where did you get them?
These last four I also need help identifying. I bought them at TSC as americaunas but, insert roll eyes, TSC wouldnt be selling Ameraucana for $1.00. I'm pretty sure they are EE? Right? And I'm 95% sure one is a cockerel but what about the other three? And thank you again for the help. Once I know, then I can make the painful decision of who must go and who can stay. The three sitting I think could be hens, but it could also be wishful thinking. The two together I think one is a pullet and the other a cockerel. View attachment 1814980 View attachment 1814981
Then there's this brownish one? View attachment 1814982 View attachment 1814983
The whiter ones are harder to tell apart but I'm slowly learning them. View attachment 1814984 View attachment 1814985 View attachment 1814987 View attachment 1814988 View attachment 1814989
Easter eggers. The last one might be a cockerel.

Does that Mean you think the Other Three are Pullets? Please Say YES!? Fingers Crossed

Here are a few more pictures. I got them at the end of last summer from a 14 year old boy who was raising and breeding for a hobby and to make $ for the family (limited English Spanish speaker). He had common breeds I recognized and a few unusual ones that I did not. Some super beautiful ones he would not sell me because they were too "special". The golden one was not laying yet and so I was amazed when she laid pale olive eggs. As she matures she is fluffier and fluffier (buff orpington mixed with ?).
The grey has super interesting feather patterns and does resemble a dorking. Must be mixed with something that had a crest and lays a brown eggs (dorkings lay white?). She does not have the Dorking 5 toes though.

Here are better pics of the hens. I got them when they were pullets late last summer in Los Osos, CA from a 14 year old boy (Spanish speaking limited English). He had breeds I recognized and others that were gorgeous that I did not know. Some he would not sell because they were too "special." I had to return a third one because it was quite aggressive. The golden one is looking more and more like an orpington as she matures but she lays olive eggs! She is friendly and curious. The silver has dorking like feather patterns but has a small crest, 4 toes, and lays a beige egg. It is more timid and shy. What do you think?

Edit to add: I think they are about 8 weeks old? Could be closer to 9

Hi all!

We adopted the classroom chickens this spring and neither I (nor the teacher) knows what breeds they are!

I think they around 7 months old? No egg laying and the bigger one has taken to crowing but I don’t think it’s a roo. At least I hope not as Roos are not allowed in the city.

Looking forward to any insights on these girls!
