Red sex links, around three months. It could be around two months give or take before you get any eggs.

The silkie is about 13 weeks.

Yes. Silkies can be tough to sex, though, and I'm not an expert with them. But at that age, with that size comb/wattles, pretty sure you've got a boy.

Kinda thought so. Every time there is some sort of threat around them he gets in front of all the hens. And he is really noisy compared to the rest.

can anyone tell me what breed she is? the woman who lived in this house before us had five chickens, but she couldn't take them with her when she moved, so she gave them to us. we don't really know anything about these guys, and I really want to know what breed this one is. she seems like she might be a bit older (I don't think she's laying), but I think she's really neat!
