The only really obvious cockerels are the Polish at this point.

How can you tell hen vrs roo with Polish? From what I've read, Roos have spikier head floofs. Any other defining features to look for?

Your Polish have their cockerel saddle feathers in. The pointy, glossy feathers on the lower back that are noticeably different from the surrounding feathers are exclusively male.

He crows like a rooster, I have another one and I think that one is a female, because she has no color no comb, anything. Same age. But It seems with all the replies I've gotten, that it could still be a female, but the other one has no markings that this one has.

I didn't know that hens could crow till I looked it up. and it's also been trying to jump on a couple of my hens so this could actually be female?
