June I hatched her myself, I just looked it up... She is at least 6 months... Same age as my OEs that are already laying, but in my experience EEs take a little longer to lay. The reason I began questioning was her charging/herding behavior, which I guess she's just taken the roll of flock protector. Lol But yes, her comb tells me she's not quite ready to lay, can't wait to see what color eggs I'll get!
Beautiful pullet, closer to about 4 or 5 months of age. She's still got several weeks of maturing to do before she's ready to lay.

Rooster or hen? This one is 12 was and has been cherry red for about six. A lot redder and more growth than my other one.

Thoughts on my 6 week old EEs?

Mr. Big (thinking he is a cockerel!) So much bigger than the others, plus look at that comb!

Not sure about this one...but he/she is a sweet little meek bird, so I'm hoping pullet

These are two Australorps. Obviously the blue in the last pic is a boy. But what about the black? It's breeder stock, about 8 weeks. Despite the comb not being as big as its brothers, I'm thinking male. Didn't get a close up of the face, but wattles are pretty good size also compared to siblings in the same hatch. Thoughts?
