Are production red chickens the same thing as red star chickens (which are also known as red sex link chickens)?

I have two red star/red sex link hens and love their egg laying. I found three "production red chicken hens" on craigslist and am wondering if they are the same thing. I'd love to have them if they are. They are going on 11 months old (mine will be a year old first of June, so only a couple months difference) and look good and healthy.

The add says they are laying really well. I know mine are laying like crazy and we are getting giant eggs from them.

"Production Red" is a name often used for hatchery Rhode Island Reds. They're not the same as Red Stars/Red Sexlinks, but they are usually good layers of brown eggs.

PRs... hatchery RIRs or NHRs.... these are not sex linked birds.

Cinnamon Queens... are sex linked.
