This is not about doing regular every day stuff.
This is about doing something extra even if you really really don't want to.
Push yourself.
If you don't want to participate sit back and watch us...
We are going to kick butt the rest of this year.
Doing something extra, can count as regular everyday stuff depending on the person.
 
Ah. Got it. I'm German, so crying is something I reserve for existential meltdowns, not DOMS.

I don't necessarily do "arms" day. I do PPL, which stands for "Push, Pull, Legs". They target different muscle groups, in a spread out and reasonable fashion, so that I'm not completely trashed for regular functionality throughout the day. Although, rubber legs post leg day is real. Getting out of the car those days is a chore.

Day 1 Pull:

Deadlift, 5x5 160lbs
Chin ups [Mach. assist] 5x10
Cable seated row 25lbs 3x10
Cable face pulls 25lbs 5x20
DB Hammer Curls 10lbs 4x12
DB Bicep Curls 10lbs 4x12
 
I did it! One set of twenty, and I did a full body circuit. I alternated between 5 and 8 pound weights, I lift tons of stuff all day long and I start my day off hauling goats to the milk stand at 7:00 (I've been waking up at 6😩), so I figured a body circuit was something I could stand.

The kitten kept bugging me the whole time though...when I did my dead leg lift she was grabbing my shirt and throwing me off balance. She's lucky I didn't fall and crack my head on the dresser. She will be thrown to the children next time I do this!
