It is a very unfortunate living environment for those chickens. However, they were bred for meat and probably would have health problems if not culled relatively young. Everyone should have backyard chickens, and then these factories could be eliminated! Wow. That is terrible. It would not do well in any weather.I know, that's what I thought.Actually @Lydia Huizenga - The feathers will never grow back. That chicken was bred to be without feathers its whole life.
