Donyou use a camera in your coop?

I use Ring stick up battery cameras also. I love them. They run on a rechargeable battery and just need wifi. I also recently got the Ring Chime Pro wifi extender that has helped with the consistency of my live feed.

Edit to say: I also have a WYZE cam that works well also. But I had trouble with it staying connected out in my coop.

How many of you use a camera in you coop? If so what do you use? Is it expensive? Do you have a link? Do you like it? I want one but there are so many to choose from. Thanks for advice in advance.
Wyze. Outdoor camera package. It does require WiFi, but is battery (no electric needed @ camera location). $90. It can be used without WiFi if you install a memory card. But then no live app viewing.

Love it. Because mom and my sister, and my grand niece/great grandniece watch it via the app quite regularly, I have to charge it abt once a week.

Picture quality is excellent. Water resistance is excellent.

Note: our lowest temp is 32°ish. Not much rain (except 7” in last 7 days…).

For the $, it’s great. Customer support is also awesome.

To add: extra cameras are $50 for the battery/WiFi and the WiFi+plug in are $30ish. Price wise, they are superb. You can have up to 4 on each base station.

The base system is $90 for one outdoor battery/WiFi camera and base station. After that you can add cameras.

Also, yearly 100% storage/playback is a few $ a month or $15 if paid by the year.

App is very easy to use and can be shared as a live stream with anyone you want. Also has motion detection … all the bells and whistles.

If you can get WiFi out to your coop, it’s a really good deal imnsho.

Hth.

Yes we do. Orion security camera. Connects through the app Grid Connect. Clear pictures. Had to run power to the coop though.
