is their a reference someplace about what to do and not to do week by week?

We are on week one. only giving them water and chick starter.

I was wondering if there is anything different between weeks 1 and week 3 or something?

thanks

The only difference is raising the brooder light a little every week. There is a lot of info on here about this. I just don't know the exact spot.

thanks. my wife is wanting to try and find bugs and such for them, and I told her its way too early for that. her argument is that in the wild that is what they would be eating.

You can take them out for some fresh air if it is warm outside. They have an absolute blast once they figure it out

I start taking mine out for some sunshine regardless of how cold it is. My broody hens take their babies out in the snow, and they are just fine. I have a heat lamp they can get under if they want to, but they absolutely love being outside. I don't leave them out for long, but the quicker they go outside, the quicker they feather in.
