double yolkers only have 1 chicken but it is a big one!

A double yolk egg can and occasionally will hatch two chicks, if both yolks have been fertilized, which they usually are. It produces fraternal (not identical) twins. The danger is that the second chick will not have an air sack to pip into and can suffocate. There is a video on you tube where a lady incubates a few double yolkers, one egg hatches two healthy chicks with her help, and only one chick survives from the other two eggs. Here's the link.

it is now almost out it is not a double it is just really big. it would be out but the egg is stuck to the back of him
