There was a lady on here who hatched a double yolker. I think it's under Good Deal thread. Two fuzzy little red guys.

But that's the only one I've seen that actually lived.

I had one I did not realize was a double yolk and the chick died and had part of another chick in it's unabsorbed yolk sack belly. It was pretty scary looking and hope it never happens to me again.

If I remember correctly she did. But it's been a while since I read it.

A friend of my dads sells eggs. Only double yolkers, apparently. I bought a dozen from him before I realized they were doubles and stuck one in the bator.

speckledhen had a big double yolker and it developed all the way to day 21. The hatch was just sad and the ending was not good.

I think that theoretically a double yolk egg could produce two different color chicks, like fraternal twins.
