I have 5 or 6 pullets laying - 2 lay white eggs (my light brown leghorn and my phoenix) and the rest lay brown eggs ( my barred plymouth rocks).

I have gotten 3 double yolk brown eggs on 3 separate days in the last week. [IMG]
My question is...Is it probably the same chicken? Are some chickens more disposed to lay double yolks? Or is it just a fluke??? [IMG]

Interesting question. I just don't have an answer. I haven't been blessed with a double yolk situation yet. So just ENJOY! [IMG]
