Double yolks are a sign of a problem, if laid frequently. It is extremely hard on the hen to lay the abnormally large eggs! Double yolks on occasion are ok but lots are bad so don't TRY to find a chicken who lays them

Pretty sure they've both come from Leghorns. I thought the same thing; cool to see happen but probably not good for the hen that has to lay it.
