Downsizing. Who to pick. Whats your number?

Yes, I can relate to the too many animals syndrom. At one time when I was breeding dogs and got a pregnant cat I had 18 cats in house. Dog were 6 adults and then litters. I have now way downsized because one just can not maintain a good life with having to care for that many.

Feed being what it is and I do not buy cheap because cheap leads to problems.

Now own.
1 dog
2 cats
3 snakes
2 rats
22 chickens

This will be expanded on the chickens probably up to 50.
Plus we will be adding two goats.

Sorry I disappeared for a few days. Got busy.. With animals.

Glad everyone is coming out and being honest. It's scary how much effort I put into my animals if I really think about it.

Cleaned out a few pens today.

And a little Mille Fleur Cochin rooster got his foot eaten off last night. So now I have 'stumpy' in my house, along with the cats lounging on the couch, the chicks in my bedroom, and the pig in the kitchen.

I really do wish I could downsize more. It's really getting hard to keep up with this many. But it's so hard. I just can't pick which should go. Besides the fact many are still young. So you really 'need' to grow them out before making any descions. Maybe once they are all adults, I can narrow them down a bit. Until then. Might as well go out and buy some new rubber bowls so I can crack the ice out of 10 pens easier.

It still looks like I might holding the top number. I'm sure there are some people hiding out there that have many more pets. Come on out you hatch-a-holics. Do share.
