Doxycycline help!

I have a one week old chick and her lungs are filled with fluid she eating drinking and pooping fine but is weak I have her separate from the others. I have some doxycycline which is a respiratory antibiotic for birds and I was wondering if anyone knew if it was okay to give it to her? or anything else that might help?

yes you can...the dosage is 150 mg per kilogram (a kilogram is 2.2 pounds)
