Just coming up to three weeks and a bit nervous!

Sometimes it can take quite a while for everyone to be friends. Check out Amiga's thread about her new duck intro: https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/712646/welcome-to-the-flock-carmella-bean-and-hazel-d
Hi,
A long overdue update.

We kept the younger ducklings in a pen until they were almost fully grown. This gave the older ducks time to get used to them. Once they were let out together there was a bit of “pecking order” antics but they eventually got on like a house on fire. We then found someone to take one of the drakes, but they quite rightly pointed out that as the drakes grew up together they may be better kept together, so we let them both go. They are both doing well and we now have a place to board the ducks when we go on Holiday.

The Ducks are now fully grown and I’ll post pictures shortly as I’d be interested in everyone’s thoughts as to what breed or mix they are.

P.S.
Is there a way I can edit the thread title?

Maybe on your original post there is a place it says edit? and glad to hear all is going so good. look forward to seeing pics..

OK. Here are the pictures. The first two are of the Drake Runners and the Ducks together.

The Ducks were sold as Runners but I can't see any Runner in them myself and they were quite a bit smaller than the Runner Drakes we had.

Any one prepared to take a guess?

The White Duck is smaller than an Aylesbury.
The Black Duck is the same size as the White and looks similar to a Swedish with pure black feet.

Thanks for the update! Handsome!

Fixed incorrect advice on editing titles:

You can edit the title of your original post, just go to the first page of the thread, and click on the edit button - the little pencil - with the words "Edit Thread" below and to the right of the title (in red letters) and then click on the title box.
