I'm okay. I brought the snow shovel up by the house today just on case. They are predicting some snow for tomorrow. Maybe with the shovel ready it will ward it off? I had to unhook my hose today too. Not looking forward to carrying water again to fill the big buckets.

Just had to check in and see how the brave cold hardy folks are doing! It gets cold here too but not like you have. I complain way more than you all do too!

Had a bunch of old eggs so I hard boiled them all and made a huge batch of egg salad with half of them LOL the other half are still in the fridge. I’ll probably make egg salad with them too but I didn’t want to make too much at once plus I was sick of peeling

Not too bad out yet, 30-40. I don't feel the cold too much until it gets below zero to -10. Hoping we get lucky and stay mild again like last year.

I was nervous all day. about mid morning I put the yeast into the beer . I skipped proofing it. just sprinkled the powder on top of the liquid. usually it starts working within a few minutes. nothing all day. finally at about 10 PM it came to life
the bubbles in the air lock are constant.
how do you spell relief ? b u b b l e s ..
