Dressed Carcass Picture Chart

Was the cockerel a mix of all three (CX, RR and Orp)?

Yes, although I have no idea what percentage of what, as we're 5 or 6 generations out now and I don't keep very accurate records.
I do tend to select the more Orpington looking birds to move forward with, as I like the way they look and I prefer the white skin. But it's a work in progress and we are still getting some yellow skin and red birds. I went out and took some quick pics of him for you, since he's such a handsome boy. He's from my March '20 hatch. The wind is blowing his tail up in that first pic, lol.

Just culled one of my Main Rooster because he was not fertilizing the hens eggs(her brother just gave me 5 chicks with the same hen)

Asil Rajah Murgh, about 8 pounds live weight(did not weigh him as dressed as my wife did the killing/cooking while I was at work)

I purchased two Red Colored Broiler Pullets that are about 2 weeks old that I will be crossing to my main rooster or one of his sons...

I’m also wanting to try bresse and dark Cornish
I just paired a Dark Cornish rooster with a Breese hen. I will wait a few weeks before I collect eggs. My pure Bresse Rooster hit 5 lbs at 4 months and my Breese hen at 1 year look small, but when I pick her up she kind of heavy, kind of like a regular Cornish chicken.

How old is that rooster in the picture, that looks like a good line for meat chicken.
