A few of my girls seem to be acting weird. Sleepy eyes, huddled down position, then a weird stretched out position when standing. They are tucking their tails, and seem a bit wobbly. They’re eating and drinking still. We’re battling lice right now. I’ve been using a spray from cal ranch at the moment, and was buying elector psp this Friday. Any idea if it’s from the lice? Is there something I can do for them immediately?!

Have you introduced new birds recently?

Put their feed in a feeder so it stays drier and what's on the ground doesn't attract rodents.

Photos of poop may be helpful.

Do you note any coughing, sneezing, mucous or watery/bubbly eyes? In a couple of the photos, they certainly look unwell.

Lice may be part of the problem. If you are getting Elector PSP, treat all your birds plus the housing following the directions. If you don't have Elector PSP, use a Permethrin based dust and dust all the birds working the dust through the feathers down to the skin. Use a Permethrin spray to treat housing, nesting boxes, roosts, nooks/crannies, etc. It's a good idea to clean out bedding especially from boxes. When using Permethrin to treat a Lice infestation repeat treatment of housing and birds in 7 day intervals.

If possible, take a sampling of poop to your vet to make sure that worms are not part of the problem.
