I have a six month old buff ORP pullet that's not doing well. I noticed a few weeks ago she was off balance and favored one leg. Checked for injury and found lice not many just a few. I treated her with poultry dust twice in two weeks and once with Adams. She seems to have a neurological problem, neck seems to curl funny, she's very weak.comb normal color. Is this from lice? Sick? Thanks

She could have a vitamin deficiency. I'd get her started on some poultry vitamins, and see if that helps. Is it possible that she injured her leg? Try isolating her from the other birds in a well-bedded dog crate/area/separate pen, with no roost. This should allow her leg to heal.

Marek's Disease can cause trouble walking and a crooked neck, too. Do you know if she was vaccinated?

Lice can cause weakness, but not usually neurological problems.
