So I have a 4 month old speckled sussex and the other day while trying to catch her I grabbed her, lost my balance and kinda sorta landed on her. She threw up a bit, but I wasnt sure if it was from me falling on her, her crop issues, or both.

Today I noticed that she was doing this weird neck thing as if she was trying to throw up or something. Her crop I am sure has gone sour again as it smells bad and was a bit water balloon like. I made her throw up and she had that gross smelly liquid. I gave her the monistat that worked last time ( I think I just need to give it to her for longer this time), and put her back in the coop.

I just went outside and she was doing that weird throw up like thing again.

Did I cause some stomach trauma or is it probably just the crop?

It sounds like she may have hurt her neck. Is she kind of snaking it around? Does she do it constantly? The picture I'm getting in my brain is when they eat too fast and the food gets stuck in their throats... they kind of snake their necks around trying to swallow.

She has sour crop? After you treat her with the Monistat, be sure and get her some good unsweetened, plain yogurt. It has the probiotics she needs to keep her intestinal flora in balance. They will help not to get yeast infections too.

well its not all the time, I need to go check on her today. Its almost as if she is just going up and down almost like she is dancing.
