Hello people i was looking foward to dub some of my roosters but i was wondering what can i put on them to stop bleeding? thanks and happy new years

I used to just pull a feather out of there but, the fluffy feathers & lay it on top & it will help clot it pretty quick, also trim by the signs of the moon, trim when the signs are in the feet, This is old school but it has always worked for me, find this in the Farmers Almanac.
You can also use flower but its messy
