I agree it is a Millie fleur. I think it may be a blue Millie Fleur. I know a lady who has some and that it what hers look like. You see where the black spots are supposed to be? They are a very blue color. But I'm not totally sure on that. If anyone who has them could comment that would be better. I know that none of my Millie's look like that at all. The black is always first with the yellow, orange to pop through.

Oh ok, I'll have to check that out because I am very interested in purchasing some. . .If possible

I'm a little farther north.... in Crescent City.

Know anybody hatching some day old d'Uccles? I've got a broody right now....

Tried to get some last year by mail from hatchery, but none survived. Saw someone in your area selling them a little to late for me last season. But it's a whole new year, let the chicken math begin!

Hey there Eggsighted4life!! You are close to me!! I love meeting people closer than say 5 states away!! LOL!! I live in Mckinleyville. About an hour from you. I'm sure you know that though. I have a lot of d'uccles but none are hatching. I have a few that just started laying eggs but nothing fantastic. I can keep you posted though if you wish.

My two youngsters are coming along nicely. I like the beard on the first one better. The second does have a beard it is just wet because it was drinking.
