Is Peepers a cockerel?View attachment 3014058
Peepers is 6 weeks now.
Uh oh! Suspect #1 does look rather “suss” as my daughter would say.Well here we have suspect #1. The darkest most skittish of the 3 millie d'Uccles. It's the only d'Uccle who's comb has grown in the last week.
Also do their beaks turn black as they grow?
Those lil cheeks! I sure hope it makes it!I’m trying to remain optimistic that my third little baby d’Uccle is going to make it. It’s definitely starting off a bit behind and teeny tiny. Lots of squawking when it gets lost trying to find its way back under the brooder plate or if holding it—you dare take your warm hand pocket away. So much commotionThe other two babies seem to be fitting right in with the bigger Polish and bantam Cochin chicks. I reallllly hope I don’t have all boys. I will cry lots
They are seriously adorable, I sit and hold them constantly
