It might be worthy of a mention that the rooster mentioned in the following thread:

Field Briefs from my Rooster

is in fact a d'uccle.

Oh and a splash. He keeps getting DQ’ed though.

My best Mille fleur won best of breed then promptly fell asleep for the rest of the show

The judge insisted that he was not a splash…I bred him from two blues myself…I can only assume it’s because he’s quite dark in the saddles and hackles.

This hen decided to start molting on THE WAY to the show lol. (Hence the “tail” comment)Great timing, penny

The Manila envelopes behind her are because she doesn’t play nice with the other birds lol.

Well he may get DQd at shows, but he’s gorgeous regardless!! Your d’Uccles are beautiful!
