Ok so I want to start breeding by the APA standards for the Millie Fleur D’Uccles. As of right know I know my hens arnt the best quality but I would like to work to have the best that I can get them. Anyway… some of my hens, more or less all but like 2, have this swirl on their necks. Can I breed this out? I know it’s common in lavender colored birds. (This hen is my worst for the Mille Fleur color)

this is probably the wrong thread to post this but in your guy’s opinion is this young man a booted bantam or just a beard less D’Uccle?

If he is a booted that would be AWSOME bc I got a lonely hen waiting for him!

I would have called him a booted but if he's just unbearded that might come out later if you try to breed him.

Yes Millie Fleur is a color in booted bantams. I am going to breed him to my what I hope is also a booted hen to see what I get. Pipd on nicalandia thread suggest that is I for sure wanted boots over the corse of breeding the select the more leggy and tall ones
