i wondered what the mille fluer pattern was called...though i seem to have several patterns. some chickens are mostly white, other are mostly orangish and others are lemon and then of course the one porcelain Roo. Some day they will hold still so i can take pics.

Buff columbian is the base of mille Fleur, but mille Fleur is buff columbian with the spangled or mottled gene i believe.
but I'm still kinda new to genetics.

Beautiful birds everyone.

We love our Mille's!

Here is Wheatie our house Mille. She was severely picked on by the others and we are now keeping her in the house. She is the sweetest thing EVER! Not to mention spoiled!

I know this is a old post. I'm hoping your still reading thread. Did she continue to stay in house? We are thinking about bringing out mille Chicken little in cause she's so sweet and is our baby! My husband wants to get her a antique cage she can hang out in or roam the house. Just curious and how old is she? She looks just like my little lady

I would go ahead and bring her in the house, if your shore she won't be lonely. They make great house chickens.

My girls were suckers for the camera today:

These are some pictures from last year:

^ This is the same rooster as the one in picture 2. you can see how he's filled out more after he molted.
