haha no, sorry, i made that very confuseing, in my pen i have, milli fluer, lavender , poriciline, and a red cochin bantam.

so i have 3 milli girls
1 lavender girl
1 porcinline girl
1 milli roo
and 1 red frizzle cochin bantam, i am useing him to create a frizzle d'uccle, and so far so good.

so the colora that have been getting from teh babys are, milli, red, black and black milli gold, porciline coloring

Just to let you know a bit about your Porcelain, you'll never get any other color from it but what you breed to it, i.e. M.F., etc. once you breed the Porcelain to something else, you loose it. You have breed Porcelain to Porcelain. Just thought I'd let you know that.
Nancy

I will look them up, yea i went by the calculator when i saw a black chick hatch out from them, hahaha

i did end up getting a porciline color chick from them, i ended up selling her though before she fully feathered in, so maybe she did not get the color i thought she would have. hmmm next one that coems out that color i will have to hold and see how it turns out.
Thanks so much for the input and advice and i will get ahold og them to see what they say about the lighter milli. thanks.

Beautiful birds....I need to get my pictures up on here....I have lots of young ones now..ranging from 2 days to 10 weeks..along with 6 adults.

I picked up a few this year at Tractor Supply. I had no idea what I had until they feathered out and I love them. I have one roo and one hen. She is not laying yet, hopefully soon as she is 20 weeks now.

Not the best pic. The hens name is Vanilla and the roos name is...well...Roo.

We have one hen that is blue Millefluer that the mahogany is washed out to a really light color. You can see the differance in the picture below. All the ofspring from this hen have also been light in color like her. This is different than the lemon I posted previously.

Wow Doug!! You've got some of the nicest birds. I so admire them. Dang it!!!! I wish there was some way of getting some of your stock down here. According to Henk the only way to get lemon into a line is to introduce it with a bird that carries it. If that is the case, if we are to ever get it down here, we'll have to out-cross to another breed, like a dutch or something that carries the ig (inhibits gold) gene. If we do that, we'll loose type immediately. Also, the same thing with your blue hen. She is beautiful and her pattern is perfect. I tried to get the blue gene by ordering some blue MF d'Uccle from what I thought was a good hatchery. Out of 24 chicks there wasn't one of them that I would keep and breed for blue. I did get a pair of golden necks out of it, but I can't tell if they're carrying the blue gene or dominant white. Theoretically it should be the andalusian blue since they came with the blue MF, I guess I'll find out next year when I breed them to the MFs.

Both of those hens came form a Hatchery in Ontario last year. I have seen some much better examples of Blue Mille at an auction in the spring but I thought that it was better to get the lemon than the blue. We have the same auction in Sept so I home the person who sold the Lemon has a hen or two there.
I really must get a better picture of him up here. The only fault I seem to see is I think the comb is two large.

The blue Mille is gorgeous!

I am so bummed that we can't get the Lemon here in the states. It is such a gorgeous color combo.

I am looking for Porcelian and Blue Mille hatching eggs if anyone has any for sale!

And, I will try to get some pics of my new Mille's up today when I get home from work.

Since it seems like everyone wants one, what would it take to import some lemon birds into the US? People import things all the time, so I can't imagine it would be prohibitively difficult if it were done correctly, yes?
