D'uccle Thread

Do I have porcelain d'uccles? These are one week old. Do yall think I have boy, girl, girl from looking at the wings?

They look like porcelains to me, but I'm not sure whether they can be feather sexed after a couple of days. I've had cockerels that were fast feathering, so with the chicks I've had I've just waited for the comb, but maybe one of the experts can help with that one...they are really cute! Porcelain is my fav

I don't believe feather sexing works with D'uccles, but I'm pretty sure you've got some pretty Porcelains!
Usually I just wait to see a comb reddening, after 3 weeks or so.

HA! Your new chicks are too cute!!
Aren't D'Uccles one of the cutest type of chicks ever?!? I got a baby Mille Fleur last year that was the cutest of all my chickies (well, was a tie with my Partridge Silkie chick).
I currently have 3 porcelain D'Uccles on order....they are supposed to arrive tomorrow

I live in WI and there is a local breeder that hatches all his chicks from his farm stock! I will be buying all my future little ones from there. I have a large batch (I already had ordered and paid for)coming from an online place at the end of April. The farm these came from is so clean and nice and you can get a couple of many varieties! Buy local!
