You can also take it back to a Mille, and see if that helps. I'm working on a Splash/mille to get some gold necks. Thank you, these are my first D'Uccles and that was my inkling...but I thought he sort of had good type otherwise. Just trying to get an idea if it's even worth working with. Try and find a hen thats doesnt have enough white like a buff and maybe youll get some nice gold necks...He is very nic elooking though, good and full body and some nice foot feathering![]()
I suspect it might be a mix, but they are cute.I'm so sorry, I have know idea how you tell if its a pea comb or a straight comb. These are our very first chicks, or I should say Chickens. Never thought we would have chickens until I rescued the first set last week. Here are better pictures I hope. She/He didn't want their photo taken. I know someone said that one of the others looks like a Light Brahma, but it has no where as near as many feathers on its legs. This one has tons of feathers on the legs.![]()

The grey one, with yellow is a Blue Mottled, I have one more. they were the cutest out od the bunch.
I have 3/4 Millie Duccle 1/4 golden sebright that look just like herI suspect it might be a mix, but they are cute.
