I'm probably going to have to do that but catching him will be a trick. I already have a couple of good size cages on hand. I bought him a couple of months ago and he obviously isn't used to being handled. Maybe it will be a good time to get him comfortable with being handled too.

Catch him when it gets dark out and he is in the coop roosting. that is the best time to catch them because when it is dark it is like the ground is lava and they go to all ends not to touch it lol

Not a problem. I think the spangles on her wings are in a band nicely also, it is hard to get that. If we look at the pictures in the ABA you can see the bands. I might be using the wrong words, but I hope folks understand what I'm trying to explain
 
I agree. I bought a very nice boy and a soso boy. I've been ready some ancient breeding tips on the Mille's it said to take a lighter boy over a darker girl or visa versa to achieve nice birds. I have both so I'm going to give it a try
