I would like to see pictures too. Been wanting some Gold Necks for awhile now....Do you have some photos you could PM me?
Would you be able to send some in the spring? February - May?I was off a little bit. It's 3.5 hours away. I wouldn't want to ship less than 10 and I don't think I have that many in those colors (I also want to keep some). I can count them tomorrow and see. I could add some of the mottles or mille fleurs for warmth. I don't have any golden necks yet. The first eggs are in the incubator and should hatch next week. As far as when I could ship, I'd have to keep an eye on the forecast. I'm not going to ship chicks with the night temps in the 20's like it's going to be here the next few days. If we have a time of milder weather, I won't mind sending some.
I sell both, but not getting many eggs right now. What are you looking for ?
Today I lost my only Milie Fluer booted bantam chick. She was a fighter. I could tell something was wrong yesterday. She was acting kinda off but I thought maybe she was cold, they are still young so they're in the house, so I turned the heat lamp up. Today she would just stand there and get stepped on. I separated her in a different crate with a heat lamp and gave her some mash, yogurt and some water. She just wasn't getting any better so I left her alone for a while and when I came back she was laying on her back with her neck all crooked and feet in the air. I held her while she took her last few minutes of life and cried like a baby. I tried everything I knew to do.
Ok, I realize I am borderline aggarvating (DH reminds me from time to time), but how does everyone manage the wire egg strap-holders in the Brinsea Octagon Eco? I put 3 eggs in and almost broke them with trying to put the wires in. Are they supposed to be tight up against the eggs? I've never had this kind of incubator before and just don't want to damage eggs.
