Hmmm... I don't know if you can or not. I'm sure someone will chime in who knows more about showing, but I hope they say you can! He is beautiful! Thanks for sharing the pic!Hey guys,
There is an upcoming show and I was hoping to show my Mille Fluer d'Uccle cockerel. Here's the problem... A few months ago he came down with a severe limp, even with the limp he is head roo of his coop and is in great condition. Recently his limp seems to be getting better, and now it's almost completely better. Can you show a bird if they have a slight limp if that limp WASN'T caused by parasites or disease? He looks fabulous other than his tiny limp.
Yeah, I assumed he tore the chicken equivalent of a MCL or ACL. I had him written off as a show bird, but now that it might be healing, I have hope! If your Legbar is valuable to you, give him time! I almost put my cockerel down, but since he was my only one I held off and I'm so glad I did!He probably strained a muscle or a tendon and it healed. I have a Cream Crested Legbar that got attacked by an Olive Egger and I found it holding him down he is now limping bad, he might not heal and I may have to but him down.
side sprigs are disqualifications right? I'm decideing weather to keep one of my roos or not and I don't want any for breeding with disqualifications.
