D'uccle Thread

Simz- I believe stockier is better. I got rid of that porcelain because he wasn't up to show standards.

Lollipop- yes, they look to be porcelain. Let me correct that- they have the lavender gene, I don't see spotting yet, but you said they are juveniles.

I just ordered 3 of Mille fleur D'uccle, a buff silkie and a black langshan. Overall are Mille fleur D'uccle a nice bird to have. Could you please list pros and cons of them. I can't wait to get them.

Cons: No meat, small eggs.

Pros: They are SO cute! Small, so easy on the feed bill, beautiful to look at, SUPER sweet pets

I have to sell one of my d'uccle hens.She has a little walking problem(she can still walk) but is getting picked on

I would be interested in her, if I'd lived there. Sadly I live in TX. At this point, I'd do anything for a d'uccle. I have the WORST luck with them. Everytime I get chicks, they came in the box, dead. I tried to go to the feed store and they sell out. Then I try to call a hatchery and they are out. All I want is a d'uccle :C

Have you tried Ideal? They sometimes have a special going for a D'Uccle assortment.
