Here are my new babies! All 7 hatched, love my little Hova Bator.....Looks like 4 milles, 2 blue mottleds and maybe a black mottled? Dad is a mille and mom is one of either a mille or a blue mottled, not sure which eggs came from which hen because they were identical....

I know this is the d'Uccle thread but I need some help. I need my silver Phoenix roo to some silver hens, a red hen and a gold/cream hen. All chicks will be silver right? I just got the gold/cream, red, and a silver hen not to long ago and separated them with him for two weeks before collecting their eggs along with the other 4 silver hens. I don't know how many eggs the red or gold hens laid since there are only two. But what do you think? Please let me know.

Red will dilute to gold/cream and gold/cream will dilute to really pale lemon or go completely silver. That's my guess.

Found my girl yesterday looking like this . No puss or anything, but her eye is swollen; I'm warm compressing it twice a day, she is still eating, drinking, free ranging and roosting. I have apple cider vinegar in their water; not sure if my rooster got her or if it's an upper respiratory thing... Suggestions??
