D'uccle Thread

I was finally able to get my D'Uccles into their respective breeding pens. Waiting a month before starting to incubate is going to drive me crazy, I want babies now!!!!! Here are some pics of my groups. Porcelain roo has a variety of hens, and then there are two pics of my mille rooster with his 2 girls.

There beautifull! Will you be selling any chick's? Im looking for black & blue mottled :)

Possibly, it depends on what I get. Last spring I only got 7 chicks out of 28 eggs. Hardly any were fertile for some reason. I am going to leave them in their breeding pens longer this year and am hoping that will help. I also waited until it got warmer to start the process and am using different roosters from last year. Just keep watching, and hopefully I will soon be bombarding this thread with pics of many many balls of fluff:)

What color are these?

I've recently acquired 7, 4 month old Porcelain's (1 roo & 6 hens) I really only want a trio but I had to buy them all was the deal, which is no biggie. My question... what can I sell the other 4 hens for? I dont really know the going rate for a 4month old Porcelain D'uccle.

I sold mine for $20 each. Glad you got your trio. You could save them and build trios with the chicks you hatch.
