Can I just say how much I like that this thread isn't derisive of hatchery D'uccles? I know they aren't the quality of private breeders but my hatchery birds have been lovely, adorable sweet birds, that made me fall in live with the breed. When I get out of the city and can keep roosters and breed I want to get some better quality D'uccles and work on some interesting colors! I also absolutely love my hatchery Dutch too, but I never go on the Dutch thread because they are so snotty about "hatchery Dutch" not being Dutch at all! But besides D'uccles Dutch are my favorite breed! (Id recommend trying some, hatchery or otherwise! I'm sad there is no thread like this one to enjoy them on!)

i think 'she' is a columbian -like a buff columbian in this image-not an exact pattern match, but most dont look like the 'ideal' phenotype
