Parkers*momma :
Thank you! Yes, I'm very proud of my boy.
MF d'Uccles get more white on them every time they molt. That's why I tend to keep the dark, mostly solid brown ones with black trim when they're about 2 months old.
If you pass through near Knoxville in August, let me know. Maybe we can work something out
You're a little far away for me
I have a batch of chicks I'm raising until September so I can pick new show birds and sell the rest at the show. If you look at my BYC page you can see what the parents look like. They never fail to win at show, even though they are getting 'old' for showbirds. My roo is gorgeous, but scarred up from battling a small dog to save his girls. The hens are soooo sweet!!
Your roo is BEAUTIFUL! And the girls are so cute! Will Mills continue to get more white with age or what he has is all he will get? She wants to show him as her 4-H project next year so we definitely need to learn what the standard is in Mille Fleur D'uccles And find the poor boy a girlfriend. He chicken dances our daughter all the time!!
Actually the end of August, we are heading to Alabama and going through TENN...who knows huh? Might have to convience hubby to make it September and include a detour.
