I'll be there! Since Saturday is the only day I am free that weekend, I won't be showing, but I wouldn't miss the chance to buy/sell/trade/visit/look/learn

Speaking of selling, I will have a few d'Uccles for sale there

5-7 is just about perfect as then the roo is not over riding a hen and not spread to thin to ensure fertility.
When we built our pens we planned to have up to 8 hens and a roo with a run for each coop. the coops are 5X4 with a outdore run of 4X8 or larger. WE now have free flowing water to the D'Uccle coops as well so no more heating of waterers (flowing water does not freaze). This has simplified the daily chores a lot.
So we have 9 like this then a bigger 8X8 divided in 2. 5 have D'Uccles in them.

I have one little lonely White D"Uccle and I really like her. Does anyone have any white or Porcelain eggs or chicks for sale?
There aren't many people in my area that I know of that have them. If Anyone does please PM me. Right now my bator is full so in several weeks would be good or in the early spring I would still be interested.

I love all the pictures and information!

What do you want pictures of the coops or the free flowing waterers?

The Coop, sorry i didnt specify

Heres a pic of my 5x5 inside pens on the east side of building. The other side is larger pens. I used the flash INSIDE and knew better, thus reason for all the little 'sun spots' or ORBS..
