D'uccle Thread

I'm between Knoxville TN & Pigeon Forge.

Too bad you aren't coming to Gatlinburg for the holidays.

I really need to sell a few millie hens. I have too many in one pen and I feel like I'm cleaning that pen too often and am constantly refilling the feeders. I thought I had them sold, but the customer decided to wait.

I don't hink that e-mail was the one on the ABA site for the show. I'll give it a try in the morning. I think I'm getting less coherent moment by moment this evening LOL. Time to go to bed!

I read it but it seemed kinda vanilla. Bland. It did not show how truly stunning these little birds can be.

Yeah, I was disappointed in the article. It wasn't really even about d'Uccles but about Ms. Ulrich and her farm. The d'Uccles were just mentioned in passing almost.

I agree but I thought I would just put it out there.

"what a beautiful bird"

Thanks hun, he's a sweet bird and now in the breeding pen with "his chic's". I've got 17 eggs from them so far, all are developing great, some are due to hatch soon so I should have pics to share later on

Doug, interesting artical...I'm kinda like everyone else, wish there would have been more info instead of just a 'pass over' on the breed. Thanks for posting anyway, I love reading all the great and interesting links.

I have a nearly 5 month old Mille Fleur d'Uccle rooster who LOVES to cuddle and be held. He is great with his girls and not aggressive towards them even when I pay attention to them. Is this cuddling normal behavior or something I should be worried about? I looked up some past posts about cuddly roosters, but I was looking for an answer related more towards his breed. Thank you.
