Even the threat of being sold didn't inspire anyone to lay eggs. I think they've been trying to 'splain that this weather stinks!!

The chicks are so teeny tiny and adorable that you just wanna stand there and

every time you look at them. They are smaller than most silkie chicks for sure.

My new little quad of chicks are doing quite well. They were all passed out this morning, and so still that I got scared and tapped the box to wake them up. They were not amused. My DH, who pretends not to like them, asked if they were okay first thing this morning. He claims he only asked because he worries about me, but I caught him peeking at them and talking to them last night.

BTW, I sold some birds to a lady who couldn't make the show. She arranged transport with another BYCer. I got a PM from him about how wonderful the 2 millie hens and gn chick are, and wondering about getting a set of d'Uccles for himself. So score another convert for the Team d'Uccle!!

Just adorable WGC! Pure-O-D-CUTE!!! Here are pics of 3 babies I have similar to your little bicolor child. I think I was to close so they are a bit blurry

One is a wk old the others are only a few days old. 2 have white middle toe feathering, the 3rd has yellow middle tow feathering.

I know it shouldn't be that long as some of the EE's started this weekend.

We had a nice -10F last night.

No frostbite yet.
