And, on another topic, here are my crew, now out in cages in the barn.

They are coming along nicely...

My problem now is that I have no d"Uccles to take to the fairs and promote d"Uccles - starting in August

I have chicks and eggs in the incubators

Anyone have a good cockerel to sell?

One that will be close to being a roo by August?

( I must be crazy asking to buy a roo)

My bators are full and I'm about to boot all broodies. I'm finally getting millie eggs though, and going to post some for auction. Lets hope that doesn't jinx the egg production....

He protects his hen thats for sure. He freaks whenever I take her out of the cage without him.

Thanks! I'm really crossing my fingers for hens. I had a really mean rooster last year and with 3 small kids I don't want to keep any more roosters at all. Their combs are still yellow as of now, so hopefully they'll stay that way

Can someone confirm that these two are D'uccles for me? We got them from the "assorted bantams" bin at Atwoods and I think they are but I am not sure. Thanks!
