Aunry's Dad is A Porcelain D'Uccle and Mom is either my White D'Uccle who throws Buff or possibly my Golden neck D'Uccle, they are the only two D'Uccle I have in with Aunry's Dad, Sweetie my Golden neck Laid creamy tinted and My White D'Uccle Pearl had creamy white, he hatched from a creamy white egg, so i believe he is my white D'Uccle baby. unless of course they can change egg shell color! LOL!
So if his mom is White but throws buff babies, is she a split? and if so for what?

that's odd.
He is a blue mille LOOKS like at least, from what you have there is no possible way he can be though.
My question now is, are you SURE that's a gold neck and not a splash mille?
Reason being, a splash to a porcelain will make all blue milles. That is the only thing I can think of combo wise from what you have that could have happened. I have splash mille d'anvers, they are identical to goldnecks, all except you can see a few faint speckles in the white areas of the tail.

The white hen you have is a recessive white. Without controled breeding test, it would be impossible to guess what she actually carrys under the white. Recessive white birds show white, but it's masking the true genetic color IN the bird.
Case of mine would be my bantam white phoenix. They are white visually, but truely are silver duckwings underneath. It's not a matter of being splits with them, it's a matter of what the white is hidding from view.
Pics of all them would help, you can often tell a lot from them.

One more thing. If the porcelain was in with only a goldneck and a white. The goldneck is the mother. Mottling is also recessive just like the lavender. So, he (the blue mille) is showing mottling so both parents had to be mottled, otherwise, he'd be a buff columbian.

O.K so heres the deal I have hatched several boys from my White D'Uccle and Porche and they all have mottles and look just like Aunry, I know this because I took My white out and put her in a breeding pen with my Porcelain D'uccle Roo took all the eggs she laid and popped them in the bator, they have all grown up to look like Aunry only vague differences. I have yet to get any to hatch out of my golden neck. all three boys started out like the first boy but blossomed into mottled boys!

Unless your telling me that I can't tell the difference between my white D'Uccle and Golden neck hen when i separated her and porche for breeding then is their a possiblility that pearl could be a golden neck masked by white, I seriously doubt it.
Here is a pic of my golden neck gal and she shows no signs in her tail feathers that you spoke of showing she might be a splash mottled. She is on your left in this picture.

Is it possible to have a golden neck with no gold in her? I have seen alot that are almost completely white. any suggestions, how could 2 different hens have boys that look so much alike if that is Sweeties baby(Golden neck) which i doubt it. as she lays tinted cream eggs and pearl lays cream white eggs, Aunry hatched from a cream white egg.

Thank You! The Roo in the first pic was a rescue he and 2 bantam cochins were in with about 20 standard chickens 10 of them being cockerels. The golden neck and the white were bought from a guy in the city who had no idea what they were and how to take care of their feathered feet.
I am glad to have them, Porche is my first Roo ever and has turned out to be the sweetest!

They are all just as sweet as they can be! I kind of regret selling my two Porcelian D'uccle hens, Parrot and Princess. : (

Moonchild, thanks for the grandbaby pics! I finally have most of mine hatched this week (2 more to go) And I have the other bunch of eggs I put in 1/4-1/7. I resolved to get started early so I could sell some at the spring shows this year. After these last 2 pipped eggs are hatched and dried off I'll get pics and post them.
