Are there are any breeders in southern ohio that want to sell laying age birds later this year? If so or someone just knows of a breeder please pm me.

Totally know the feeling. I had to jail three, if one wasn't coming after me, they were going after my FCBM rooster, very funny sight. Hey Teddi, do your d'Uccle's like big chickens, every little d'Uccle, I have likes to hang with all the big chicks, brahams, cochins, and if I have meaties, OMGOSH it OS crazy, they will hang with them and mate with them. I wish I could have gotten pictures of it. The meatie just lowered their heads and the rooster just slides off. LOL

Haha our one little d'Uccle is in my laying hen coop. He thinks he is a ladies man, he actually 9 times out of 10 gets on them backwards @@. Silly boy, then struts around kicking up straw like he is a bad boy! LOL Cracks me up everytime. I think my girls laught at him, they are all buff orphingtons and black australorps in there so twice his size lol.

We have the Rooster Jail beside the Faverolles sho they always try to get in with them.
The Faverolles will have non on if. They just shake and the roo's fly off or the hens end up with a wet spot on the back.
Eitherway it is not functioning.

One more week till I see if I have a Lemon coming out. Cant Wait.

my lil pullet is just a sweet heart though hmmm she follows me around worse than a lil puppy. i have almost stepped on her numours times but she ended up getting her top beak taken off by one of the larger roosters who has to be in is own lil pen cause hes mean to everything (standered rooster he's not one of mine and he got her through the fence).

so far she seems to be ok and has adapted to it. she will follow me all the way to the house and inside if i let her come in. i keep their feed in a large container and she hops in there and eats, she's learned how to eat grass but still working on bugs. im more concerened with how well she can pren herself doesnt seem like shes got the hang of that yet but is getting better at it.

almost, she's since then broken the rest of it off she looks like she used to be a battery hen (if you have ever seen one completly debeaked)
