These Milles are from Nathowe- I got 90% hatch with 3 roos and 7 pullets! Awesome foot feathering and beards

Heres one from my Milles which apparently have something other than pure Mille genes running in thei blood. What would this color be?? Maybe Lemon Mille or something...........

Great photos of the babies...about that millie with another gene, is that one you hatched from me? I am working with a closed flock of mille fluers and haven't had any ever feather out like that. My birds are getting bigger beards and better feet-feathering with each generation it's exciting to see the improvements I am making in the flock. I have been culling hard and culling often.
The others born at the same time from the same dad looked like normal Milles. There are 3 hens so maybe its just 1 that has the different gene.from those pics it looks to be a pullet ;-)haha to that hdowden....We'll see if I get another one to hatch that color. It does look like the "quail" look somewhat. Im actually excited to see what its gonna look like when it gets older. I think it is prob a roo but that is fine with me![]()
