Anyone know of someone who will sell Bearded D'uccle pullets or hens?
I got my d'Uccle chicks from Welp. They do have porcelain. But you probably mean that you don't want chicks. You have to order 30 bantams at a time.

Lea and Coffee... so sorry to hear about your babies. Total bummer. Hoping for the best moving forward.
As discussed before, more baby pics. They are 5 weeks old plus a few days. There are two black and white ones. One has gold leakage on neck and the other does not. So far look girly to me... lets keep hoping.
first pic, black with gold leakage (phantom) is in front.
Phantom is on left (gold leakage) and marvel is on right.
Last picture... Phantom is on left (leakage) Marvel is on right and Midas is screaming roo in the front...
Would you say based on how ROO ish that he is, would they be hens.. or is it still too darn early...
I am wondering if the golden will be a mille but rather than a brown body base, will have a gold body base. His marking are just on the wings... reminds me of a mille fleuer
Sorry to hear. Do you, by any chance, add heat in the winter?I'm so bummed, my 6 month old blue mille cockeral died yesterday. He had some respiratory issues I was treating with antibiotics, but he didn't make it. My little goldneck pullet is coughing too, and I'm treating her as well, I hope I caught it early enough with her. I should have started treating the boy earlier, but he seemed to be doing alright and I am always hesitant to use antibiotics unless totally necessary. Lesson learned I guess. Last year I had this roll through too, but the antibiotics cleared everyone up and they all made it. It seems like the D'Uccles are affected more for some reason, no one else gets sick, (cochins, silkies and a polish). Any advice?
With MG it is usually the secondary infection that kills, not the MG itself. Be on guard for e coli infections! They seem to be the most talked about complication. It can set itself up in the lungs as well. Keep everything as clean as you can while treating, and the water as clean and fresh as possible! (E coli is in the poo, for chickens and mice)
With the coughing also keep your eyes peeled for facial swelling, that is something else entirely and needs to be treated differently. If i remember correct, there will be a nasty smelling nasal discharge for that, too (coryzoa)
What pretty little guys. I'd take them in a heartbeat but they would need to be shipped up here, of course. I'll PM you.I hope I'm doing this correctly. I'm really new.
I really need to find a new home for my sweet baby mille fleur d'uccles roo. I do have a sweet pullet as well. They are super attached so I would rehome them together if it was a make it or break it deal. (selfishly I would love to keep her "Little Girl" is her name) I simply don't want them to end up as dinner or him to be a fighter. Our HOA won't allow roosI am In ventura county (93065) CA. He/they are about 16 weeks now and very mellow and sweet...but Little Man (the roo) is super loud for a tiny guy and seems not to have his days and nights figured out just yet (he will crow over and over reguardless of the time of day, sounds like a mini trumpet-so cute!!) Please help!! I have just a couple days to find him/them a new home
Thank you ~ Jen
