were did your stock come from? maybe something got mixed in there to help develop the color of your current stock. those black ones look like they have silkie in them from some wheres.I have one other roo besides all my D'uccle boys. He is a standard 13# mix of RIR and EE. (I am guessing on that). There is no chance he was with my girls. He free ranges during the day. Unless he can figure out a locking pen door or coop latch, he hasn't had contact with them.
I am very interested in seeing what they look like as adults. It adds to the uniqueness of my flock. I love it!![]()
