Duchess hatches babies, saved eggs hatching in bator!

Well,,,,, I have been considering it. When she showed up she and Nugget were chummy, but now she's more into Turk. She is an egg hoarder and would try and hatch a rock if given the chance. I haven't decided yet but I'll let you know! You'd have to be willing to come pick her up though, no shipping!

The saved in eggs in the bator are doing good, one hatched over night and was taking a turner ride this morning!

Judging by the picture, Duchess "appears to me" to be a cross between a Buff Orpington and a Game Chicken. Perhaps.

Do you know what kind of chicken she is?

There is a pip going on in the bator again. Looks like Duchess will have a few more to add to her ones outside. She really is a fantastic mommy hen too, but you can tell a good bunch of these are not her eggs. The beautiful yellow babies are putting on darker colors on the wings and I think they will look a lot like her.
