Duchess on her nest,,,, surrounded! New Pics page 3 egg hoarding

Duchess went broody, one of my many, and I knew she had a few eggs under her but this is ridiculous!

Yesterday I caught Fluff & Stuff sitting on top of Duchess so I think she laid her eggs in Duchess's nest and now wants to sit on them too, but she laid another egg and now it's in there with the rest of them.

Ok,, so this is what I did about half an hour ago! It's nice and dark, raining lightly,, and the chickens are asleep.... hehehehehehehehehe! Steven's little cross Charlotte is a professional broody, small, but really good at what she does best. So, I go out in the dark,, and remove 10 eggs from under Duchess, who even growls and hisses in her sleep by the way, and put them under Charlotte! She's only got 2 eggs of her own right now and I don't think they are forming, so when she wakes up she'll be thrilled and Duchess will wait for me to walk by and probably go Kung Foo hen on me. But she still has 19 eggs!
